Suspect Wanted in Union County Shooting

UNION COUNTY, N.C. -- Police in Union County are looking for a man responsible for a Thurday night shooting that left one victim seriously injured.

An altercation broke out between two individuals at 4109 Faith Church Road in the Hembry Bridge area of Union County. Police say Joshua Caldwell, 21, shot a firearm, striking one victim causing serious injury, during the encounter.

Warrants for arrest have been issued against Joshua Caldwell for Assault with a Deadly
Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury. He should be considered armed.

Caldwell is described as 6' 1", 145 lbs, and having a tattoo on his lower left arm that says, "CHILD", and a tattoo on his lower right arm that says "GODS". Caldwell also as a tatooo on the center of his chest with the letters "CAS, EJL"
