Three People Charged in Chester County MurderCHESTER, SC -- Chester County Sheriff's have arrested Jamar Williams, 23, after he shot and killed a man inside a residence on Cedarhurst Road. According to authorities, the 911 call came in around 4:30 a.m on Saturday. Upon arrival, police found 29-year-old David Austin suffering from an apparent gunshot wound in the head. Austin was transported to Chester Regional Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead. Mr. Williams is charged with possession of a firearm during a violent crime and murder. During the investigation, witnesses told detectives that a vehicle left the scene after the shooting. A short time after wards police located and attempted to follow the vehicle when a male jumped out and attempted to run. Williams was arrested and taken into custody. Two women were in the vehicle and charged with accessory after murder. Laverne Shelton Green, 55, of 231 Columbia St., Chester, and Jacquelyn Rochelle Williams, 42, of 440 Ashford St., Chester. |
