Troutman Woman Arrested for LarcenyTROUTMAN, NC -- What began as a report in reference to larceny in late November ended with the recent arrest of Cheryl Martin of Troutman, NC. The case was assigned to Detective Sergeant Scott Maple of the Economic Crime Unit for investigation. The victim stated that Cheryl Martin had stolen three of his personal checks, passing only two of them at two different Bank of America locations in Iredell County, obtaining $450.00 from his bank account. Based on the information obtained, detectives were able to charge Cheryl Martin, 44 of Troutman, NC with Larceny and Obtaining Property By False Pretense. Martin was arrested on December 27, 2012 and placed in the Iredell County Jail under a $1,500.00 secured bond and given a future court date. |
