Two Kannapolis Residents Arrested on Heroin Charges
KANNAPOLIS, N.C. -- Two Kannapolis residents were arrested on drug charges after an undercover investigation by Rowan County Sheriff's Office.
Charles Wayne Laney III, 28, and Amber Maree Hope Steggall, 22, were arrested by Cabarrus County authorities.
Laney's charges were eight counts related to the sales of heroin on April 30, 2014, May 28, 2014, and June 9, 2014. Stegall was charged with one count of conspiracy to sell/deliver heroin related to a transaction on April 30th.
A bond for Laney was set for $100,000, while Stegall's was set for $5,000.
