CHARLOTTE , NC -- Despite low turnout for protests at the Republican National Convention, activists in Charlotte expect larger crowds for the DNC. Organizers anticipate thousands for the March on Wall Street South protest in Uptown Sunday.

It begins with a rally at Frazier Park.  Protesters will then march down Trade Street, to College Street, and loop back along Stonewall and College Streets.

Local law students will be at protests during the DNC, but they won't take part.  The Charlotte School of Law students will act as legal observers.

They'll watch how protesters and law enforcement interact, and will act as a bridge in necessary.  People will recognize the students because they'll all be wearing neon green hats.
