CHARLOTTE, N.C.-- First Lady Michell Obama predicts the 2012 presidential election will be extremely close and warns it's crucial to get out and vote.

Mrs. Obama spoke to the African American Caucus at the Convention Center Wednesday.

She not only asked attendees to vote, but she asked them to spread the word to friends and family suggesting they volunteer in battleground states.

Mrs. Obama's opening speech at the DNC last night was a big social media hit. It brought in more than 28,000 tweets per minute.
