"Take our may take on a whole other meaning during the week of the DNC. Jason Chen says, "We'll pull out a bicycle and deliver food to our customers."

Jason Chen owns Chinese food restaurant Ho Ho Cherry House on Seventh Street in Charlotte. His plans to deliver food for the DNC may have to change. Chen says, "If they are inside the closed street areas, we will have to meet them."

Chen expects traffic to be heavy around the city center. And has to find ways to avoid security checkpoints if he decided to deliver to his regular customers Uptown. Chen says, "Our delivery business is about fifty percent of sales, which is a lot."

Louie Suppa owns Villa Francesca Uptown. He usually delivers pizzas and pasts, but the week of the DNC he's not attempting to deliver anything. Suppa says, "We decided we're not going to deliver because of the check points, and its congestion."

Suppa says he may lose money that week in deliveries, but making it through the sheer crowd volume isn't worth the hassle. Suppa says, "I have to send someone out there, pay him and the food is going to be cold, and people are going to be mad. It's not worth it."
