NC business group hosts education summit


GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) — North Carolina's biggest business lobby group is pulling business and education leaders together as they envision the workforce of the future.

The North Carolina chamber of commerce is hosting the meeting Tuesday in Greensboro.

The North Carolina Chamber's event is bringing together deputy U.S. Education Secretary Anthony Wilder Miller, the incoming chairman of the University of North Carolina's governing board, and state legislative leaders.

The chamber says its top priority is preparing a world-class workforce with strong education systems.
