CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Those College and Grad school student loans never seem to go away, no matter how long you've been out of school!

There is one special federal loan forgiveness program you may not know about targeting public service employees, to help wipe out their debt.

It's called the Federal Income based Repayment Plan. It's for teachers, law enforcement, emergency personal, public servants, and others.

If you've been in the job for 10 years and you've been paying off the loan, you can get the payments lowered or completely wiped out, depending on how much you make.
