Pedestrian Killed in Hit and Run CrashCORNELIUS, N.C.-- Cornelius Police have made two arrests in a fatal hit and run crash early Satuday morning. Police say Kevin Sweet of Cornelius was walking on Bethel Curch Road near Madison Manor Drive when he was struck just before 2 a.m. The driver of the vehicle, Jacob Andrew Kost, 23, was charged with murder, felony hit and run, driving while impaired, and driving while license revoked. A second man, Jason Edward Shaw, 21, was charged with accessory to murder. This crash is still under police investigation. |
