Blow Out Bar Craze Charges CharlotteCHARLOTTE, N.C. -- It is already a phenomenon in Los Angeles and New York. Now the blow out bar craze is beginning in the Queen City. Highlights, haircuts and hair treatments may be the first thing you think of when it comes to a salon, but now there is a new trend storming the Charlotte area. Re Salon & Med Spa is one of the first salons to open a blow out bar in Charlotte. Owner, Lindsey Hathaway says the professional blow-dry bar is all about beauty on the go, “Everyone is in a hurry here, so they are trying to come in and get beautiful quick and they don’t want to have to wait.”
Re Salon created a quick and affordable fix by dedicating menus to just salon blow outs. They have four styles or customers can create their own. The experience takes about 35 to 45 minutes and includes a shampoo & conditioner wash, a blow out followed by hair styling.
Lindsey Hathaway says the theme around the blow out bar revolves around convenience, “It’s just about taking advantage of things that are convenient and you don’t have to take the time to do it yourself.”
Although this may be a fairly new trend to the area, local customers like Katy Delpino are taking advantage of the new services, “I actually didn’t even know about the blow out bar but I’m definitely going to take advantage of it with some of my friends.”
Re Salon offers special deals during its happy hour from 3pm-6pm, Tuesday through Friday. You can get blow outs for $35 or get deals on other salon services at special prices.
