CHARLOTTE, NC -- The Daily Show is in Charlotte for the DNC this week and along with it, of course, Jon Stewart.  When Amy Aussieker, owner of FABO on Selwyn Avenue, heard he was coming, she sprang into action!  Her mission: get Jon Stewart to visit her coffee shop and art gallery. 

For months, Amy has reached out to Jon and The Daily Show but she has yet to hear for sure if the comedian will visit. In the meantime, she has created a Facebook page, twitter account and website to ramp up awareness for her cause! You can even get a Lil' Jon (think Flat Stanley but Jon Stewart), and you are encouraged to take a photograph with it on your travels and send it in. Perhaps the centerpiece to all of this (certainly if Jon does pay FABO a visit), is the bathroom. The Jon Stewart Shrine is a restroom where visitors can write messages to Jon on the wall. Graffiti is encouraged but please stay on topic!
