Healthy Bar Serves Nutritional ShotsCHARLOTTE, NC-- There's a new type of bar in the area selling special shots to keep you healthy. Instead of bartenders behind the counter, a nurse and several personal trainers mix up drinks. Monarch Nutrition in Gastonia says it is going beyond shakes, offering weight loss and wellness coaching as well as nutritional supplements. Laurie Mancuso, the creator and owner, says her own weight loss inspired her. The health bar also has a spot for customers to exercise while they hang out. |
