SHANNON, NC- Following an undercover investigation by Mercy For Animals, Butterball Turkey in Shannon, NC was raided by the Robeson county sheriffs office for criminal animal cruelty this morning.

Investigators documented workers throwing, kicking, dragging, and beating turkeys, and turkeys suffering from bloody open wounds and infections.
