New Research May Shorten Your Workout Routine
by Ashley Armstrong

CORVALLIS, OR-- It looks like there is no need to hit the gym extra hard this week!

A new study out of Oregon State shows that 43% of people who do short spurts of everyday activities are better off than gym-goers. Researchers say it's good news for people with busy schedules.

Local trainers suggest getting creative with the work you do around the house. Research shows Americans spend 70% of the day sitting down. If you're stuck behind your computer all day, trainers say to pack sneakers for a walk at lunch, take the stairs, or park far away.
