CHARLOTTE,NC--Charlotte Motor Speedway is kicking the habit.

Fans are no longer allowed to smoke in the grandstands and most public areas.

The speedway has plans for several smokers lounges that will include flat screen T.V's so fans can follow the action on the track.

Smoking will still be allowed in the campgrounds, parking lots, and souvenir areas but will affect the Z-Max Dragway and the Dirt Track.
