FDA Investigates SC DairyYORK COUNTY - A dairy in York County, SC has said its raw milk is safe to drink. This, despite a warning from North Carolina Health officials. The US Food and Drug Administration is warning people not to drink the un-pasteurized milk from Tucker Adkins Dairy. State officials are still investigating eight cases where peole got sick in Mecklenburg and Iredell Counties last month. Before they got sick all of them drank raw milk from Tucker Adkins Dairy. Raw milk is unpasteurized, and can sometimes contain harmful bacteria called Campylobacter. The dairy's owner tells FOX Charlotte she did her own testing and didn't find any bacteria. Selling raw milk in North Carolina is illegal.
