Hurricanes agree to 2-year deal with TerryRALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — The Carolina Hurricanes have agreed to a two-year contract with forward Jason Terry. The two-way deal will pay $525,000 at the NHL level or $90,000 at the American Hockey League level with a guarantee of $105,000 for the first year. The deal will also pay $525,000 at the NHL level in the second year, though it increases to $105,000 in the AHL for that year. The 23-year-old has played three professional seasons, leading the AHL's Charlotte Checkers with 43 assists and 59 points last year. Carolina drafted Terry in the fifth round of the 2007 draft. |
