17 Year-Old Charged With Weapon at SchoolCHARLOTTE, NC-- A 17-year-old Charlotte teen is facing charges for having a weapon on school grounds. Michelle Newkirk was arrested just before 10 a.m. Tuesday morning. Police say she had two knives at Lincoln Heights Academy in northwest Charlotte.
