FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (AP) — Another week means another governor coming to North Carolina to support Pat McCrory's bid to become the state's next chief executive.

This time, it's South Carolina Republican Gov. Nikki Haley. She'll cross the state line to speak at a rally late Wednesday afternoon with McCrory at the North Carolina Veterans Park visitor center in Fayetteville.

McCrory got help in his campaign against Democrat Walter Dalton last week from New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who attended a rally in Salisbury and attended a Charlotte fundraiser. McCrory's campaign says Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker will make at least two campaign stops with McCrory next Tuesday.

Dalton will get his own help from an outside governor this Thursday as Maryland Democratic Gov. Martin O'Malley will campaign with the lieutenant governor in Greensboro and Raleigh.
