20 New Jobs Coming to York County

YORK COUNTY, S.C.-- A manufacturing company will establish a new production facility in York County creating twenty new jobs.

PDM US Corp, which manufactures pre-insulated copper pipes, will invest $1.33 million in a facility at the former Samuel Strapping building in Rock Hill off Cel River Road. This will be the company's first U.S. manufacturing facility.

“We are excited about our new operations in York County. We’ve seen demand for our products increase in the U.S. market, and this new facility will go a long way in helping us better serve our customers,” said Pasquale De Martino, vice president of PDM US.

Hiring for the new positions is underway. The facility is expected to be open by June 1.
