FLORENCE, S.C. (AP) — Police in South Carolina have arrested a man wanted in a North Carolina death last month.
Florence County sheriff's deputies and State Law Enforcement Division agents arrested a Florence man Tuesday on a murder warrant from Mecklenburg County, N.C.
Thirty-two-year-old James Maurieo Hunter was arrested without incident.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say Hunter is one of four suspects in the Feb. 25 death of Ronny Eugene Steele.
Reuben Timothy Curry, Ryan Kendell Andrews and Charlie Edward Snowden also been charged with murder. Snowden was arrested last week in Florence County.
Hunter is being held in the Florence County jail awaiting a decision on extradition. It was not clear if he has an attorney.
