CORNELIUS, N.C. - 18-year-old Bronco Villafranca has been communicating with WCCB News @ Ten via social media.  He says "I did nothing wrong" and "I have no association with Riley."  He's referring to Riley Bowlin, the 16-year-old who was arrested after last week's bomb threats at Hough High.

Villafranca also now disputes that he is in a gang, despite previously claiming that he was a member of the violent Mexican gang Sur 13.  He's removed references to his membership in the gang as well as pictures of himself making apparent gang gestures from his social media accounts, but we collected several photos before he could delete them.  When we asked him about it, he denied that his hand gestures were gang signs.

Villafranca bonded out of jail Tuesday night.  He's been appointed a public defender and is due in court for a probable cause hearing in a couple of weeks.
