Belk Is Giving $5 Million To UNC Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C.-- Belk Inc. is giving the University of North Carolina at Charlotte's business school $5 million dollars over the next five years.

The Charlotte department store is giving UNCC a very generous donation. It was announced on Tuesday that the money will be used to boost the Belk College of Business programs that teach students marketing analysis and business innovation.
 
According to Chancellor Philip Dubois, it is the biggest single gift that the business school has received.
