PINEVILLE, NC- The 40,000 square foot trampoline park includes six courts. The facility is for all ages and owners say it's low impact, so it's easy on your joints and great for your body. "For the older crowd, they come in here and do our aerobics class or they come in here on their own free time and really power through it and just work out," said Seth Sears, corporate trainer for Sky High. But for kids who just want to have fun, there's a foam pit, small private courts, and an arcade. For more advanced jumpers, there's plenty of room for tricks. If you don't want to do aerobics or just bounce around, you can be a bit more competitive and play dodge ball. A separate court is for tournaments and games like “Air Attack”, “Bounce”, “Twist and Dodge”, or just a pick-up game. With so much action, Sky High staff says safety is their number one priority. "We have court monitors on all of our courts patrolling. Especially with a court this size, we have two three at one time making sure everyone's following the rules and being as safe as possible," said Sears. Intense training is also an option. Professional stunt artists have trained at other sky high locations on the west coast. "People who are into martial arts come in here. People from gymnastics come... cheerleading. We hit a whole bunch of different circles," said Sears. There’s always room for jumping rookies. Sky High hopes it's opening Friday night is just in time for family holiday fun. |
