CLT Airport AuthorityCHARLOTTE,NC--A plan to take control of Charlotte Douglas International away from the city is headed to the state house. The Senate gave final approval to the bill Wednesday which will create a 13 member airport authority if it passes. One possible sticking point in the House could be the fate of more than $800 million dollars in airport debt. Lawmakers say they are trying to make a reasonable business decision.
