Carolina Ale House Provides Tax Day Relief

by WCCB Charlotte

Monday, April 15 is a day everyone dreads: Tax Day.  This year Carolina Ale House (CAH) will provide a little relief to those people who may have been hit hard by Uncle Sam this year.  All CAH locations will feature $5 Burgers and $2.50 PBR drafts all day on Monday, April 15.

Carolina Ale House VP of Operations, Mike Liedberg, hopes the relief incentive will be a welcomed break from what can be a stressful day. “Burgers are very popular right now, and we make the best in the industry. We use fresh, never frozen beef & buns, housemade sauces & local produce.  We’re confident that if we provide our burgers at a price that’s welcomed on Tax Day, we will make new friends and reward our loyal guests with a deal that can’t be beat.”

The ½ lb. burger specials will include menu favorites such as the Triple B Burger (blackened and topped with blue cheese crumbles & Buffalo sauce) & the Pub Burger (piled high with bacon, American cheese, onion strings & Papa Lou’s secret sauce).  The Veggie Burger will also be included.  All burgers will be served with CAH’s award-winning French fries.

Carolina Ale House is the better alternative to a typical sports bar with award-winning food, high quality bar choices and a locally-focused, hospitable environment.  Its high-energy atmosphere, especially during big game days, and the multitude of TVs makes it the ultimate meeting place for Food, Sports & Fun. The group currently operates 20 locations; six locations in the Triangle, locations in Wilmington, Fayetteville, Greenville, Charlotte and Jacksonville, NC, an outlet in Terminal 2 of RDU International Airport, four locations in South Carolina, one in Georgia and three in South Florida.  The concept will be expanding to Glenwood South in Raleigh, Concord & Winston-Salem, NC, Charleston & Summerville, SC and Texas over the next 18 months.

Carolina Ale House, est. in 1999, is locally owned and operated by LM Restaurants (LMR).  LMR was ranked the 24th Fastest Growing Private Company in the Triangle at the 2012 Triangle Business Journal’s Fast 50 Awards and 27th in the NC Mid-Market Fast 40 by Business North Carolina.  It is the parent company of several award-winning restaurants on the East Coast (www.lmrest.com).
