Charlotte Group Challenges Chick-Fil-ACHARLOTTE, N.C.-- Chick-Fil-A continues to catch heat for not supporting gay marriage, and now a Charlotte group is involved. Chick-Fil-A's founder shared the restaurant's position in July. That motivated Campus Pride, a gay advocacy group, to rally LGBT students. In fact, the group's president just met face to face with Chick-Fil-A's executives in Atlanta. Campus pride says when LGBT students support Chick-Fil-A, they potentially support groups that do not support their policies. The restaurant says its intent is not to support political or social agendas.
