CHARLOTTE, NC--Local children will have a huge say in how Charlotte honors the 20 children and six adults killed in the Connecticut school shooting.

Charlotte Parks and Rec plans to build a memorial playground in central or south Charlotte and CMS students will help come up with the design.

There's already some money set aside for the playground, but park and rec is accepting donations.
