CHARLOTTE, N.C.--The Carolina Panthers face the Atlanta Falcons this weekend. The game is enough of a reason to remind some people in Charlotte why they hate Atlanta and why the Queen City reigns supreme. "What I like about Charlotte better than Atlanta is that it is a small city with a small city feeling where Atlanta doesn't seem as personal," said Baltimore, Maryland resident Deb Zgraggen.

It's a battle royale. A fight to find the true capital of the south. Atlanta versus Charlotte. University City Resident Olive Floyd said,"I think its a more fun and laid back city. More stuff here to do."

Find the Best. com said charlotte has a better climate, more jobs, and less crime than Atlanta. You'd think it would be a no-brainer when it comes to personal preference. Baltimore, Maryland Resident Aprile Crawford said, "Atlanta will be my choice." Crawford said her family's home base in Atlanta is the reason that city is more peachy than the queen city, leaving her husband with no choice, "I gotta follow my wife...that's family...so there you go...Atlanta as well...sorry Charlotte," said Baltimore, Maryland resident Ainsley Crawford.

The Carolina Panthers game begins on Fox Charlotte on Sunday at 1 p.m.
