Cherryville Town Employees Face Federal Embezzlement

CHARLOTTE, NC-- Two former Cherryville town employees face federal embezzlement charges.

Former finance director Bonny Alexander is accused of taking more than $435,000, former utility supervisor Jennifer Hoyle is accused of embezzling more than $92,000.

This incident occurs just months after six men were indicted as part of a law enforcement corruption investigation.
