Cop Shoots Pit BullCHARLOTTE,NC-- A woman in west Charlotte says an officer shot and killed one of her pit bulls and wounded another. Janneth Sanchez called 9-1-1 on Sunday, after she says her husband wouldn't let her in their house after an argument. She says when he finally unlocked the door, the dogs ran outside between her and the officer, who then supposedly shot the dog. CMPD will not go into details but a spokesperson said the officer fired his gun which is protocol.
