Council Approves $1.3M to Develop MillsCHARLOTTE, NC -- A developer that wants to turn two old mills in NoDa into affordable housing will get more cash from the city. Council approved giving Community Builders almost $1.3 Million to fix up the old Mecklenburg and Johnston Mills. That's less than the $2.4 Million originally requested. Community Builders says the property is in worse shape than first thought.
