Crews Rescue Man from FireKANNAPOLIS, N.C.-- One man is recovering from injuries after being found unresponsive by emergency crews inside his home after a fire broke out. According to a release, the Kannapolis Fire Department was dispatched to a fire on Nob Hill Drive around 9 p.m. Sunday. Firefighters found the unconscious man towards the rear of the home with fire pushing towards him. The victim was transported to Carolinas Medical Center Northeast for treatment. There were no other injuries reported. The home sustained significant smoke and heat damage. |
