CLOVER, S.C. - 36-year-old Jennifer Romero of Clover, South Carolina was arrested Sunday and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.  Her minor.  Romero is accused of buying 10 dollars worth of marijuana from a guy at the neighborhood tennis courts, taking it to a local park and smoking it with her 14-year-old daughter.

According to the York County Sheriff's Office, the girl was being pressured by classmates to try the drug.  Romero said she'd prefer for her daughter to get high under parental supervision.  Her first idea was to bake the drug into brownies but then decided on the park plan.  When Romero's husband found out about it, he called the cops.

"He did the right thing in calling us," says York County Sheriff's Office Public Information Officer Trent Faris.  He says this is a good reminder for all parents.  "Even though the mom had good intentions, (it's) still not a good idea.  It's still illegal."

We went to the Romero home but no one wanted to talk.  Deputies are still investigating.  Specifically, they're trying to determine who allegedly sold Romero the pot.  She is spending her second night in jail under $3,000 bond.
