Detectives Seek Assistance With Identifying Armed Robbery Suspects

CHARLOTTE, NC -- Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department are requesting assistance in identifying these two suspects in an attempted armed robbery. On Sunday, November 25, 2012, two suspects entered the One Stop Smoke Shop on University City Boulevard.

Authorities say the female suspect demanded money from the clerk while armed with a knife. The suspects did not get any merchandise from the store. The suspects left the business in an unknown direction. The store clerk was not injured.

The first suspect's description is described as a light skinned black female , approximately 5'5", medium build and was last seen wearing a hoodie. The second suspect is described as a light skinned black male approximately 6'3", with a small afro, last seen wearing a hoodie. Both suspects are believed to be in their early 20's.
