She turned to Wendy Swanson, an acupuncturist who uses "Accufacials" to enhance energy, blood flow and collagen production in the face by inserting needles into problem areas. "We're targeting specific areas on the face.Many people want work on their forehead, crows feet, cheek, laugh line, sagging neck," said Swanson, owner of Starpoint Acupuncture. About 30 needles are inserted during the procedure. Mostly in the face, but some in the arms and legs. Patients then have to wait about 30 minutes.
