Fire Destroys Dilworth BusinessCHARLOTTE, N.C.-- Investigators with the Charlotte Fire Department are trying to determine what caused a fire at a Dilworth business. The call came in at 2:20 a.m. for the structure fire at 716 East Blvd. Officials say it took 49 firefighters just under two hours to fight the blaze which left the building completely destroyed. Total Protections (TPS) USA, LLC, moved into the building about four weeks ago. They will continue to conduct business out of their Ballantyne office. There were no injuries reported. This fire remains under investigation.
