Free Biometric Palm and Finger Prints as Part of Child Safety EventSouth Charlotte Nissan on South Blvd is hosting a child safety event this weekend that provides parents with the tools they need in case their child goes missing. The FBI developed a brand new 1.2 billion dollar identification database called Next Generation Identification (NGI) to hold and process both fingerprints and palm prints. Over 40% of prints left behind at a scene are palm prints, so it's important to have these records in addition to fingerprints. At this event, parents will receive for their child: - FREE FBI certified biometric palm prints - FREE FBI certified biometric 10-digit fingerprints - FREE full color digital photograph - FREE child safety journal which provides law enforcement the vital information about your child should they go missing. There is no databasing of information collected at the event. After each child goes through the line, parents are handed a child safety CD, containing the above mentioned elements. The only record of your visit is handed to you to take home. The Child Safety event takes place at South Charlotte Nissan at 9215 South Blvd on Saturday, October 27, from 9:30am - 2:00pm and on Sunday, October 28, from 112:00pm - 4:00pm.
