STOCKTON, CA -- A bad boy's mug shot has ladies around the country talking... not about his crime, but his good looks!  The northern California man, who's been to prison before, is now facing felony weapons charges.

Police posted his mugshot, and others, on their Facebook page and at last check, his has more than 78,000 likes.  It's also racked up more than 21,000 comments.  Some women are writing things like, "If this guy broke into my house, I'd make him forget why he broke in within 30 seconds."

Meeks did a jailhouse interview about his sudden fame.  "Well, I appreciate, but I just want them to know that this is really not me, I'm not some Kingpin," he said.

Meeks' mother has launched a site to raise $25,000 for his legal defense.  She says he's been railroaded and deserves a fair trail.
