Hidden Valley School Wins Burpee Food GiveawayCHARLOTTE,NC--Hidden Valley Elementary school was one of 23 schools across the country to win the facebook giveaway. Wednesday a Burpee Home Gardens truck dropped off 1,300 pounds of free vegetables and plants for the Hidden Valley school garden. There was said to be enough food for every student to bring some home. Burpee says the purpose of the national giveaway was to show the country how easy it is to grow healthy food anywhere. |
