CHARLOTTE,NC--City leaders aren't saying much in public about funding Bank of America Stadium renovations through higher tax dollars.

A majority of council tentatively support raising $125 million dollars through higher restaurants taxes to help the panthers.

Some council members who previously disagreed on raising taxes for capital improvement plan, are now willing to use public money for a private venture.
