Homicide Investigation in North Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C.-- Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department are investigating a homicide at a business in North Charlotte.

According to police, an assault call for service came in just after 7 a.m. Wednesday at a convenience store on North Tryon Street.

Officers arrived and found a male victim bleeding from an apparent assault. MEDIC pronounced him deceased at the scene as a result of his injuries.

This incident is still under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (704) 334-1600.
