CHARLOTTE, NC--Human trafficking is becoming a real problem in the city of Charlotte.
As part of human trafficking awareness day, local organizations met with youth at several locations around the city to discuss warning signs.
The issue became a problem after the National Human Trafficking Resource Center says it got 238 calls from North Carolina in the first six months of last year.
Charlotte received 43 of those calls, which is more than any other city in the state.
