Huntersville Police Looking for Wedding Ring ThiefHUNTERSVILLE, N.C. -- Huntersville police are looking for a man responsible for stealing a men's and women's matching wedding ring set. On Friday, February 8, at 12:20 p.m., Huntersvile police responded to a felony larceny at Studio 101 Jewelry on Old Statesville Road. During the investigation, they found that an unknown black man entered the business, asking about a matching wedding ring set. The clerk placed the ring set on top of the counter and turned around to reach for another piece of jewelry. The suspect grabbed the wedding ring set, consisting of four rings and ran. The rings are valued at $1,500. The suspect is described as a black man, in his 20's. He is about 6 feet tall and weighs around 170 lbs. He has collar length black hair with corn rows and a goatee and was wearing a green Army jacket and a white polo shirt. Huntersville Police Department sent the above surveillance pictures to WCCB.
