Investigators Still Looking into Cause of Lancaster House Explosion
LANCASTER, SC - There are still plenty of questions after a house on Cane Mill Road exploded early Saturday morning. One by one cars slowed down Sunday night to take a closer look.
"Never seen anything or heard anything like that in my life," says Lancaster, SC resident James Pappas.
Like others James and Jim Pappas stopped to take pictures. They felt the explosion from their house two miles away.
Officials say they've been looking at natural gas as a cause. But SLED is still investigating. The Lancaster County Fire Marshall tells WCCB there's no timeline on when they'll have a final answer.
