Jury Awards $1.7 Million to VictimsCHARLOTTE, N.C.-- A Charlotte bar is ordered to pay nearly $2 million to the victims of a drunk driving crash. Matthew Eastridge and his wife, Meredith, were hurt in the crash on Providence Road in October 2010. Meredith was six months pregnant and lost her baby. The driver who hit them died. Their attorney says David Huffman was over served at Eddie's Place Restaurant and Bar. A civil court jury awarded the couple $1.7 million. Eddie's place has not returned our request for comment.
