Kings Mountain Police Requesting Public's Help After Armed Robbery At Wendy's

 KINGS MOUNTAIN, N.C. -- Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who robbed the Wendy's at 113 York Rd. around 12:45 a.m. Monday.

KMPD responded to the armed robbery after an alarm call from the restaurant. 

The suspect made an employee drive him to an undisclosed location where he got out of the car and ran off.

The employee was unharmed and the suspect got away with an undetermined amount of money. 

The suspect is described as a black male around 6-foot-one with a slim build. He was wearing dark clothing, a blue bandanna around his face and was carrying a handgun.
