Knights Stadium On Time And On BudgetCHARLOTTE,NC--The Charlotte Knights will move into their new uptown stadium on-time and on budget. The team celebrated the news Tuesday as the first steel beams from the BB&T stadium club house were raised. In the next few weeks construction crews will work their way down the first base line building the dugout near home plate and then the retail store. The Knight's executive vice president says it's proof the ball park is coming to life. The team broke ground on the ballpark last September and construction is said to wrap up by the end of the year. Club seats will go on sale later this month.
