Lancaster Man Charged with MurderLANCASTER, S.C.-- The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office charged a suspect accused of murdering a man allegedly in a relationship with the same woman as the suspect. Jeffery Lanard Roseborough, 30, was charged Monday night with the murder of Gaeric Q. Johnson, 23, of Lancaster. According to investigators, the shooting took place just at a home on Cedar Pine Lake Road. Johnson was brought to Springs Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. Sheriff Barry Faile said in a statement, “We are thankful that we were able to get this case solved so quickly. Our investigators did a great job. My condolences go out to the family of Mr. Johnson and we will leave no stone unturned until Roseborough is in custody.”
